The Thai Medical and Health Tourism Association is holding its 2024 Annual General Meeting.

The Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association (TMWTA) held its 13th Annual General Meeting on April 23, 2025, at the Private Hospital Association Meeting Room, 10th Floor, 50th Anniversary Building, Bang Kapi, Huai Khwang District, Bangkok. Dr. Prapha Wongpaet, President of the Association, chaired the meeting.

This conference, held both on-site and online, was attended by representatives from 78 partner organizations nationwide, reflecting the association's crucial role as a central hub for driving Thailand's health tourism industry.

Before the meeting agenda began, Associate Professor Naman Promnara, a faculty member from the Digital Marketing Department, Faculty of Business Administration, Bangkok University, gave a special lecture on the topic of "Digital Marketing & AI for Healthcare & Wellness Management." This lecture provided a fresh perspective on how to leverage technology and marketing strategies to enhance the capabilities of the healthcare and medical businesses in a modern and effective manner.

The formal meeting will commence at 2:00 PM and will include key agenda items such as: announcements by the chairman, approval of the minutes from the 12th meeting, a report on operations from May 2024 to December 2024, consideration and approval of the annual financial statements, appointment of auditors, and consideration of other matters related to organizational development.

The atmosphere of the meeting was constructive, with an exchange of ideas and suggestions from members of various organizations. The goal was to collaboratively drive strategic plans for the future of the medical and wellness tourism industry, aligning with the changes of the modern world.

This meeting marks a significant step in reaffirming TMWTA's role as a key organization effectively connecting the medical, health, and tourism sectors, while striving for international standards and the sustainability of the Thai industry.
